Guess who's about to launch his next surefire "bestseller"?
Antony Loewenstein's new book on "Vulture Capitalism" will be launched at that well-known centre of literary excellence, the Addison Road Community Centre.

As his site history shows (in no less than 500 places), Antony is desperately attempting to make "Vulture Capitalism" a term for which he is given credit.
Unfortunately, just as Fetch isn't going to happen, neither is Antony's attempt. You see, the term "Vulture Capitalism" has existed in another meaning for over a decade and Antony didn't bother doing his research before he started writing. What's new?

Vulture capitalism has seen the corporation become more powerful than the state. And yet its work is often done by stealth, supported by political and media elites. The result is privatised wars and outsourced detention centres. Mining companies pillage precious land in developing countries. Struggling nations are invaded by NGOs and the corporate dollar.When dollars invade!

Oh Dan, not again? Your narrow conservative mind has got the better of you once more. Only in dead languages do wrods have static meanings. You do know that sometimes wrods have two meanings? Maybe you should have a good listen to "Stareway to Heaven".
In this case 'vulture capitalism' is the perfect descriptor of the corporate cancer now consuming the planet. I have breathed new life into an old expression and no doubt my creative reassignment of the phrase will become its dominant usage.
And that, dear Dan, is why literalist hidebound conservatives such as yourself are still blogging in their bedrooms whereas more creative intellects such as myself become serious pubic intellectuals.
Exactly how does he get to be a "best selling author"?
I thought they had problems giving his stuff away except to prop up unsteady tables.
