As long as they didn't take the photos outside my window on a Sunday morning...

What happens when you combine models, leafblowers and a camera?

This.

Do they Accept Paypal?

A cultural oddity to consider next time you read about the Saudi Government bankrolling Australian universities.

An unbelievable leaked video of an auction for a suicide bomber against Syria! This takes place in a hotel conference room in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The atmosphere is festive, and the audience has children in it. But the merchandise auctioned is human flesh and blood!

The video shows the father, abu-salah, attending the auction and offering his son Khaled as sacrifice. The father receives 1.5 million Riyals ($400,000) as future compensation for his son's demise in Syria. At one point in the video, the father is elated at the high bids.

What kind of father sells his son? What kind of person pays to have a stranger blow himself up?
Err... Presbyterians?

Wise Words

A couple of weeks ago Andrew Bolt linked to Mark Steyn's latest piece. I set it aside as it's long. Having just read it, I can say it is a brilliant summary of what's wrong with 'multiculturalism'.

Read it and pass it around.

Sure you're not Antisemites... Sure.

Here at the 'Nabka Day' march in Sydney's CBD is one of Sydney's best known neo-Nazis (and St. George supporter), Ross 'The Skull' May.

Green-Left, Socialist Resistance, Jihadis and Neo-Nazis all celebrating together. This is Blair's Law in action and Tim Blair has more on this march of Useful-idiots.

Thomas Freedman said: “Criticising Israel is not anti-Semitic, and saying so is vile. But singling out Israel for opprobrium and international sanction–out of all proportion to any other party in the Middle Eas –is anti-Semitic, and not saying so is dishonest.”

They've never said a word about Syria, Iran, Saudi Arabia or any of the biggest human rights abusers in the world who kill more Arabs annually than Israel has in decades. The same week Syria shot hundreds of protesters in the street, they instead block Sydney traffic to demonise the world's only Jewish state.

Yet they will always insist they aren't antisemites. No no. They're "anti-Zionists". Get it?

Turkeys

Is there no end to the dastardly cunning of the Zionist Regime?
Turkish authorities claimed to have found the body of an Israeli spy in the country last week.
It was a bird.
The alleged spy was found in Gaziantep, and was suspected after a ring with a serial number and the word “Israel” stamped on it were found on its leg.
Those clever Turks have unraveled a fiendish plot
Turkish authorities say they have even more damning evidence of Israeli espionage: the bird’s unusually large nostril.
The Beyaz Gazete reports the nostril was big enough to insert a microchip in.
Fiendish Jews and their cunning nostrils! Barbra Streisand might want to rethink her next tour itinerary.

Peak-Hour Palestinians

The local Palestinian boosters and their Jews for Genocide supporters have applied to hold a demonstration against Israel, marching through the Sydney CBD during peak-hour.

The NSW Police, who facilitate hundreds of protests a year (admittedly mostly by the same rent-a-crowd who have nowhere else to be at 5pm on a work day), have politely asked them to relocate to a park somewhere to avoid traffic congestion in peak-hour. Sensible really but not good enough for the Jihadi Jokers who are convinced this is really an attack on their freedom of speech.

Seriously
NSW police initiated a Supreme Court action against the pro-Palestine Al-Nakba commemoration march to be held in Sydney on May 15. The police are seeking a court order prohibiting the public assembly and procession. Protest organisers state that they will not be intimidated and will defend the right to protest in court.
Independent journalist and author of My Israel Question, Antony Loewenstein, says: “The right to peacefully protest is a cornerstone of a democratic society. Supporting Palestinian rights is even more essential today in an age where our political and media elites choose to ignore Israeli apartheid right in front of their eyes.”
The political and media elites also choose to ignore liars. Liars hate that.

Naturally, despite puffery about democracy these fools won't utter a peep against the Syrian Government shooting at demonstrators in the streets but instead dare accuse the NSW Police of being fascists.

Meanwhile, this is what the Sydney Morning Herald regards as mere "protest" by Palestinians.

Their caption: "Flashpoint ... a Palestinian outside the Ofer Prison near Ramallah after a demonstration in support of those in Israeli prisons."

That kid wouldn't be older than fifteen and he is throwing a Molotov Cocktail. Some "demonstration in support". He must be fun at birthday parties.

Of course if he were throwing that molotov cocktail at a police officer or soldier who defended their life by shooting him, it goes without saying he would magically become an innocent teenager out playing soccer when he was brutally slain. This kid's parents are no doubt proud of him.

These are the people for whom local groups wish to express support, by blocking traffic.

Warm Fuzzy Jihad

Andrew Bolt notes, with due cynicism that Al Qaeda now calls for a kinder, gentler terrorism.
they have advised against the bombing of any places of worship, particularly churches and synagogues.
Jews receive an apparent reprieve from a former target of choice.
Other targets were where “Jews gather”, but avoiding synagogues
Jewish kindergartens and schools are of course quite fine. Islamic business as usual.

Whale Fail

I was watching the National Geographic channel on Foxtel tonight and saw an advertisement* for saving whales.

Apparently this is to be achieved by uploading photos of your "whale tail" to a website. Simply hold your hands in front of your webcam, click submit and voila. Whales saved...

This is Slacktivism at its finest but it may also be the greatest inadvertent trolling effort of all time. To date, nearly 8,000 people have uploaded their 'whale tail'.

Apparently none of them have ever watched Curb Your Enthusiasm where the gesture denotes an oversize.. Well, just watch for yourself.

This includes some local celebrities.

Barry's got a huge one.

Derryn's got an enormous one. Shame!

There is an alternate interpretation provided by whaletail.com. (NSFW - Not Safe for Work Whales)

Bogan Justice

Violence [sic] scenes erupted in a Sydney courtroom after a young man who stabbed a 16-year-old boy to death was jailed for a minimum of four years. Resounding screams reverberated through the NSW Supreme Court on Friday, after Jay William Cook was sentenced over the 2010 manslaughter of 16-year-old Todd Burrows.
Four years seems pretty light. But why was he killed?
Cook had pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of the year 11 student, who died from a stab wound to his chest after a fight broke out between two opposing groups of graffiti gangs at St Andrews in Sydney's southwest.
The judgement:
While noting the seriousness of the crime, Justice Garling said Cook was only 18 at the time of the incident and his actions had "all the hallmarks of an immature teenager". "He is a relatively young man. He was of reasonably good character. He is intelligent and his prospects of rehabilitation are good," Justice Garling said.
Two years after the death, what have his friends learned? Not much.
Fights erupted outside the court between young men from the opposing sides, while the Burrows family held each other and sobbed. (Video) "He got four years," Ms Burrows told reporters. "Mums, that's what your kids are worth to those arseholes. Four years
By 'arseholes', she was referring to His Honour. A bottle was thrown at Cook in the court room, halting the formal sentencing process. Such was the gravitas in the courtroom... It is unclear what the late Todd Burrows' Mother said while her child was running around with a criminal graffiti gang. Even if he were still alive, the poor kid probably never had much of a chance.

Figures Broken Down

Received via email. Original source unknown:
Right now the Federal Government is at pains to tell everyone - including us the mug-punters and the International Monetary Fund, that it will not exceed its own, self-imposed, borrowing limits.
How much? $200 billion. And here's a worry.
If you work in a bank's money market operation; or if you are a politician; the millions turn into billions and it rolls off the tip of the tongue a bit too easily. but every dollar that is borrowed, some time, has to be repaid. By you, by me and by the rest of the country.
Just after 5 o'clock tonight I did a bit of math for Jason Morrison (Sydney radio presenter). But it's so staggering its worth repeating now.
First thought; Gillard, Swan, Wong, before that Rudd, all of the Labor Cabinet, call these temporary borrowings, a temporary deficit.
Remember Those Words : Temporary Deficit.
The total Government debt will end up around $200 billion. So here's a very basic calculation .. I used a home loan calculator to work it out..... it's that simple.. $200 billion is $2 hundred thousand million.
The current 10 year Government bond rate is 4.67 per cent. I worked the loan out over a period of 20 years. Now here's where it gets scary ..... really scary.
The repayments on $200 billion, come to more than one and a quarter billion dollars - every month - for 20 years. It works out we - as taxpayers - will be repaying $15.4 billion in interest and principal every year .. $733 for every man woman and child - every year.
The total interest bill over the 20 years is - get this - $108 billion.
Remember, this is a Government, that just 4 years ago, had NO debt. NO debt.
In fact it had enough money to create the Future Fund, to pay the future liabilities of public servants' superannuation, and it had enough to stick $20 billion into the Building Australia Fund .....
A note was sent to me which explains that the six leading members of the Government, from Ms Gillard down, have a collective work experience of 181 years, but only 13 in the private sector.
If you take out of those 13 years the number that were spent as trade union lawyers, 11, only two years were spent in the private sector.
So out of those 181 years:
- no years spent running their own business
- no years spent starting their own business
- no years spent as a director of a family business or a company
- no years as a director of a public company
- no years in a senior position in a public company
- no years in a senior position in a private company
- no years working in corporate finance
- no years in corporate or business restructuring
- no years working in or with a bank
- no years of experience in the capital markets
- no years in a stock-broking firm
- no years in negotiating debt facilities with banks
- no years running a small business
- no years at the World Bank or IMF or OECD
- no years in Treasury or Finance.
But these people have plunged Australia into unprecedented debt.
Well, in a way you can't blame them. It's clear the electorate did not do their homework, because the Government is there by right.
Ah, but they are Labor and people vote for them because Labor is good for the working family - right???
If you have read this you may like to pass it on to your friends to help educate a little as you, them and I, will be repaying the above.
