Antony Grew Some Balls?

Here is Antony at the "Festival of Dangerous Idiots Ideas" auditioning for Tony Jones's role as panel moderator. Antony is usually as painful to listen to as he is to read.

So someone in post-production of this video has sensibly felt that Antony's usual screeching whine could do with a bit of assistance.

DID YOU HAVE ANY IDEA? - with Antony LOEWNSTEIN.

The video features Antony answering the question: "Did you have any idea?"

No comment necessary.

They also spelled his name wrong. Antony's celebrity grows...

I had no idea he was so famous. He's, like, an antipodean Chomsky, pretty much.

No doubt this announcement will soon appear on Antony's site:

"Look mum. I finally grew a pear!"

This guy almost hits just the right tone: a hint of world weariness, a dash of cynical left-wing academic-speak, and a smidge of smug know-it-all independence. Pity about the designer five o'clock shadow and the haircut that makes his head look pointy...
