Professional protesters versus amateurs

Well-organised pro-carbon tax Leftists take to the streets.

Anti-carbon tax protesters, most armed with crudely-made, amateurish signs.

Which then is the grass-roots movement?

A lot of the pro-carboneers look like student types. I wonder how many of them has paid their first electricity bill?

The two haggard looking women in the front are too old to be arts students.

Maybe they're lecturers?

"Carbon Costs - Polluters must pay"

Pro carbon crowd want it because they think someone else will pay.

Anti carbon crowd don't want it because they think they will pay.

One of those groups understands how capitalism work. The other group probably spends the rest of their working week at anti-capitalism rallies, which is why their ignorance is a real head-scratcher.

It is a worrying development when protesters are supporting the despots.
p.s. my verification word is "unrud". The ALP are in the process of doing that.
