British and French to spearhead Libya action

It's hard to believe that the U.S. military will take a support role in action against Giddafi's forces:
French officials said on Friday that military action would start “within a few hours” and news reports said British and French warplanes would spearhead the attack.
But can the French and British pull it off? Regardless, a Libyan tank is the last place I'd like to be at the moment.

The first thing the French will have to do is recover all the materiel they gave to the Libyans.

I'm sure they'd prefer the Americans didn't find it first.

Second step: Unconditional surrender.

If the French are flying jets over Libya, it's so they can land them and sell them to Gaddafi.
