Regardless of who she beds down with, Morrell's columns have long been vacuous, devoid of ideas and preachy. Scott wasn't only interested in the length of her sentences, as pitiful as they are, but also their high-handedness and lack of substance.
If a so-called "leftist" penned something instructing a third party whether or not to have children, you'd accuse them of nanny-state social engineering.

Bridget, it's quite obvious that Beck was having an ironic crack at Jeremy. I thought it was pretty clear, myself, but unlike you lefties we don't need to have the punchlines explained to us.

I agree. So, where's the condemnation of Marieke Hardy's appalling column last week on "the awesomeness of dogs" (and is 'awesomeness' even a word?). If there has ever been a piece of writing more 'vacuous' and 'devoid of ideas' printed in a major newspaper, I'll eat my computer screen. Where's the latest PP post ripping into Traceeeee Hutchinson's most recent piece of drivel?
I find it hard to believe that, if Ms Morell was not the wife of a certain columnist, the great minds over at PP would even bother with her. She's just not worth the effort. But alas! the fair maiden committed the unpardonable sin of marrying the man most dear to Jeremy's heart, and now she must pay.
Er, Hardy writes opinions about tv shows. This is what PP is supposed to be critiquing?
Clearly it must be, since Morrell's column was also about a TV show.
