CARTOON SOLUTION

Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, secretary-general of the 57 member nation Organization of the Islamic Conference, has come up with a five-point plan to defuse the cartoon controversy:
The five points include the adoption by the EU of necessary legislative measures through the European Parliament against Islamophobia and making joint efforts by the EU and the OIC to adopt a UN resolution on the lines of existing UN Resolution 60/150 (combating defamation of religions), which should prohibit defamation of all prophets and faiths.
As if the already way over-governed Europeans need foreign governments legislating for them. If the plan goes ahead the Europeans can be counted on to police themselves but who's going to police the Islamic world? Hey, here's an idea: if the UN seriously wants to eliminate religion based hate speech, it should ban the Koran .

I have a better solution: put all the Muslims within your borders on an anger management course and don't let them out until they have passed a cartoon test. If any of the countries in the Middle East again threaten to blackmail the west with oil prices, make them to the 52nd, 53rd ... state of the USA.
